COMPLEX MOISTURISING - THE SECRET TO GLOWING SKIN

COMPLEX MOISTURISING - THE SECRET TO GLOWING SKIN

Feeling good - glowing skin

Complex hydration - the secret to glowing skin. How we feel in our bodies quickly becomes visible in the mirror. It's no coincidence that happy people say "You're glowing!". Because they are! Your skin is, in a way, a mirror of how you feel.

A healthy complexion starts with our habits - cleansing, moisturising and toning with aids is of course essential. And yet, in a way, it's just the tip of the iceberg. Skin care and moisturising need to be looked at as a whole - healthy habits both in and out of the bathroom are essential to looking after your skin's wellbeing and therefore its long-term appearance.

The skin is our largest organ - and the first barrier to infection - so it's important to boost its natural defences. Yes, moisturising the skin with serums and creams can help prevent dehydration, but extra care is also needed to allow the skin to rejuvenate, be smooth and supple at a cellular level.

5 ways to hydrate your skin at a cellular level

Skin is 64% water. When the skin loses even a little body fluid - for example, through illness or increased sweating - it uses up water reserves stored at cellular level.

Here are 5 habits that will help you rejuvenate them and keep your skin healthy:

1. Fresh air.
Walking in the fresh air will not only cleanse your lungs, improve your mood and boost your energy, it will also improve the appearance of your skin. Your skin breathes. It also needs oxygen to carry out other functions - including absorbing moisture and nutrients.

2. Sleep.
Around 7-9 hours of sleep will help your skin recover from UV exposure and balance moisture levels. On the other hand, sleep deprivation can dehydrate the skin, making it less resistant to bacteria and thus exposing it to various risks of damage.

3. Get moving!
That's right - working out can be productive not only for your physique, but also for the health of your skin. As blood flow increases, oxygen and fluid move more quickly throughout the body, including to the skin. At least 30 minutes of active movement every day will help to eliminate harmful substances and provide your skin with the nutrients it needs.

4. Drink water.
Those who manage to consume more water on a daily basis will notice the first signs of skin ageing much later. Try to drink about 8 glasses of water a day - it will not only benefit your skin health, but also your metabolism, overall body cleansing and energy boost.

5. Include nutritious foods in your diet.

If you don't get enough fats, proteins and collagen in your diet, your skin can literally dry out.
I recommend including foods rich in carotenoids - yellow, red and orange fruits, such as sweet potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin, corn, mango, melon, apricots, etc.

Of course, these habits won't magically change the appearance and health of your skin overnight. And yet, in the long run, you'll not only see improvements, but feel them too.

Facial moisturisation

As I mentioned above, moisturising your skin needs to be a holistic approach - both in terms of habits that strengthen your skin's defences from the inside, and in terms of using skincare products that suit your age and skin type.

To ensure the necessary care, after cleansing, I recommend continuing with:

  • Micellar water or toner - to tone and balance moisture;
  • Eye cream - in addition to taking care of the skin around the eyes, where the first wrinkles are most likely to appear;
  • Face creamthat will richly moisturise your skin and help fight the first signs of ageing.

If you're over 30, supplement your skincare routine with hyaluronic acid serumwhich will deeply hydrate and replenish your skin's tissue reserves of hyaluronic acid, thanks to the pentavitin, vitamin C and sea buckthorn extract.

Don't forget to treat your complexion to a deeply nourishing, caring face mask from time to time. Try this:

  • Mash 2 tablespoons of avocado;
  • Mash 1 tablespoon of a ripe banana;
  • Add 1 teaspoon jojoba oil and 1 teaspoon lemon or orange juice;
  • Mix the ingredients, apply to the skin and leave on for 15-20 minutes.

Take care of yourself!
