What does vegan cosmetics mean?
This means that the products do not contain any ingredients of animal origin!
The products and their raw materials are not tested on animals!
Vegan Fox Not only is the product vegan, but the company itself invests its energy, free time and profits to improve the living conditions of animals.
Where does Vegan Fox invest the money it earns?
We invest the money we earn in developing and researching new products, but most importantly - we plant and clean forests, help animals in need and support animal shelters.
Does Vegan Fox have any certificates that the products are truly vegan?
Yes, all Vegan Fox products are registered with the Vegan Society, which carefully evaluates every ingredient in the product. Vegan Fox products are certified by the Vegan Society.
What is the expiry date for Vegan Fox products?
Face creams, body creams, body oils and body scrubs are valid for 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Hand creams and foot creams are valid for 18 months from the date of manufacture.
Facial cleansing foams, shower gels, liquid soaps and bath foams are valid for 30 months from the date of manufacture.
We recommend using the product within 6 months after opening.
Each product has a shelf life of one month and one year on its packaging.
Is the packaging of Vegan Fox products recyclable?
We try to use as much recyclable packaging as possible - mainly PET and aluminium. We ask our customers to be responsible and to sort product packaging according to the instructions on the waste containers. We use cardboard or paper packaging for transport. We do not pack products in glass containers, as they consume much more energy to produce and transport than plastic and glass packaging is riskier in everyday use - it can break, for example on bathroom tiles. We have not found a truly sustainable alternative to plastic, but we are closely following developments in the packaging industry and hope to avoid using plastic in the near future.
Does sediment in produce indicate that it has spoiled?
Because Vegan Fox products use natural oils, they tend to flake off or build up, which is more common in body oils and scrubs! This does not affect the quality of the product in any way.
Is Vegan Fox affiliated with big cosmetics corporations?
Vegan Fox is a family-run business in Latvia, founded by friends and family.
Where and how are Vegan Fox products produced?
Vegan Fox products are made in Latvia, and handmade throughout the production and packaging process.
Are Vegan Fox cosmetics organic?
Vegan Fox products use mostly natural oils and plant-based ingredients from trusted suppliers in the EU, but they are not "organic" certified farms.
How to store Vegan Fox products properly?
Store at room temperature in a place protected from direct sunlight and do not leave the packaging open (without the cap).
How can I check for an allergic reaction from Vegan Fox products?
Although Vegan Fox products have been tested for safety, any cosmetic product has an allergy risk. If you start using a new cosmetic product, such as a face cream, we recommend that you test it on the skin of your hand (forearm) or chin. If no allergic reaction is observed after 24 hours, there is a good chance that you will be fine when you start using the product on a daily basis!
What products would you recommend for oily and dry complexions?
For oily skin, we recommend the Cleansing Foam for Oily Skin and the Moisturising Face Cream.
For dry skin, we recommend the Cleansing Foam for Dry Skin and the Nourishing Face Cream.
Do Vegan Fox products use preservatives?
As products contain many natural ingredients - oils, butters, plant extracts - preservatives are needed in minimal concentrations to prevent spoilage and to keep them at room temperature. We use less than 1% Phenoxyethanol in our face and body products - it is a safe preservative with antibacterial properties, used to ensure that the products are safe to use after opening and do not harbour bacteria. This preservative is used by many natural cosmetic manufacturers, but we want to find an even better solution and are on the lookout for more natural preservatives.
We use less than 0.001% Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone in the bath products that are rinsed from the body after use - this is a safe preservative that ensures the bath products are safe to use for longer periods of time.
Does Vegan Fox contain SLES?
All our products are free of parabens and other harsh chemicals, but SLES (not to be confused with SLS) is used in the bath range (shower gels, hand soaps and bath foams) in small concentrations, along with aloe vera extract and other ingredients that balance the effects of SLES and make the formula softer. It is a substance with detergent and foaming properties that we use only in products that are rinsed off the skin with water after use. SLES is not toxic or carcinogenic, but may cause irritation in some people. To date, we have not received any complaints.
Do Vegan Fox products contain parabens, PEGs, sulphates, mineral oils or palm oil?
We are happy to say that our products are free of these ingredients - parabens, PEG, triclosan, sulphates, mineral oils, palm oil, petrolatum, phthalates, GMO, EDTA, DEA, MEA, TEA.
Is some of the raw material sourced in China?
We buy all our raw materials from trusted suppliers in the European Union, where animal testing is prohibited by law. Quality and ethically sourced raw materials are more important to us than their cost!
What colours and fragrances are used in Vegan Fox products?
There are products where we do not add colouring or flavouring. We only use colours in our products that are also used in food production. Essential oils are added to products for their positive properties and smell is secondary. Mostly we use a combination of natural and synthetic fragrances in our products to avoid allergic reactions.
Can I use Vegan Fox products if I have allergies to gluten or soy?
None of our products contain gluten or soy.
What are the payment methods?
We offer to pay for your purchase with bank cards, Paypal payment system, Swedbank, SEB, Citadel, Luminor internet banks, and outside Latvia also with internet banks of major European banks!
Will I have to pay additional taxes or customs duties?
All product prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax. Import duties and other charges may apply for orders outside the European Union. We have no control over this process, payment of duties is the buyer's responsibility!
Is it possible to cancel an order after payment?
An order can only be cancelled if it has not been dispatched. We usually dispatch within 1-2 working days.
In which currencies can I pay for my order?
The default currency for all products is EUR, but you can change to USD or GBP in the top right corner of the website.
What if I can't pay my order?
In cases where payment is declined, we recommend that you try another payment method or please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We recommend that you carefully check the payment details you have entered and the balance in your account.
Delivery and return of orders
Does the price include delivery?
Can I change my delivery address after I make a purchase?
If you notice an error in your delivery address, please inform us as soon as possible by sending an email to email@example.com. Once the order has been dispatched, we cannot change the address. Orders that are returned due to an invalid delivery address will be subject to a new shipping charge for re-shipment.
How do I return my order and get a refund?
After receiving your order, you have 14 calendar days to notify us that you wish to return or exchange the products. The product(s) must be in their original condition - in their original packaging, unused and looking like new. We do not exchange or refund damaged and/or used products. The cost of returning products is your responsibility.
Please contact us before proceeding! To return products, please do the following:
1. Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the product name, order number and the dates you ordered and received the products.
2. We will send you the return address. Please note that we are not responsible for lost parcels in the event of a return.
3. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product(s), we will send you an email confirming that we have accepted your return and asking you to send us your bank details for a refund.

In the Baltic States we deliver by courier to your address, to Omniva parcel machines and to DPD Pickup points!
In Europe, delivery is provided by courier companies (TNT, DPD, etc.).
During the global transition there may be limited possibilities to deliver to some countries! Please contact us before purchasing!
How long does it take to deliver an order?
We dispatch your order within 1-2 working days (excluding public holidays and public holidays). In cases where a large volume of purchases are made in our shop at the same time, it may take up to 3 additional days to process the order.
In Latvia, delivery is usually within 2 working days after the order has been dispatched, whether by courier, to Omnivas parcel machines or to DPD Pickup points.
In Lithuania and Estonia, delivery is usually within 3-4 working days after the order has been dispatched, both by courier and to Omnivas parcel machines and DPD Pickup points.
In European countries, delivery is usually within 5-7 working days after the order has been dispatched, both by courier and to DPD Pickup points.
When are returns refunded?
Reimbursement will be received no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods.
