It is very important to allow solid cosmetic products to dry out between uses; this prevents them from being used up too quickly, as they do not become soggy with moisture.
The loofah is a vine that, when dried, becomes sponge-like. It is widely found in tropical and subtropical regions and resembles a cucumber in appearance, which is why it is also known as a plant sponge or sponge cucumber.

Usage – we recommend drying solid cosmetic products on a natural loofah or in a cotton bag between uses. The loofah is biodegradable; once it has worn out, it can be disposed of in the compost.
