The refreshing queen of summer - mint.
In this summer heat, I'm looking for something fresh and refreshing - from a cold shower early in the morning and refreshing drinks throughout the day, to a pleasant evening swim in the nearby river. But that's not what I want to talk about today - today I want to talk to you about mint and its benefits.
The refreshing queen of summer, mint is a rather unique herb in general, because depending on how you take it, it can both invigorate and soothe - relieving pain, improving eyesight, enhancing beauty and even freshening breath.
And while most people associate mint with an invigorating addition to water in summer or an aromatic tea to enjoy on winter evenings, these are not its only uses.

7 ways to use mint:

  • FOR HEALTHY BREATH - Chewing a mint leaf, you can taste the coolness of the menthol in your mouth, in addition to the characteristic taste. Menthol is one of the most valuable ingredients in mint as it reduces bacteria in the mouth, so chewing fresh mint leaves is the most effective way to freshen breath.
  • MUNDRAM GARAM - The distinctive aroma of peppermint improves brain function, increases concentration, reduces irritability and anxiety. Just breathe in the aroma of freshly minted peppermint to improve your mood.
  • FOR HEADACHES - Rubbing peppermint oil on the gums, occiput and ear area can relieve headaches and migraines within 15 minutes.
  • HEALTHY STOMACH - Peppermint helps to relax the gastrointestinal tract and improve digestive function. Because of these properties, mint is also recommended to be added to food.
  • AGAINST INSECTS - Peppermint's strong scent repels and scares away flies, mosquitoes and other nuisance pests.
  • For a pleasant room - Both fresh and dried mint leaves are excellent air fresheners.
  • FOR BEAUTY - Peppermint is also widely used in the beauty industry. Peppermint oil is ideal for oily or acne-prone skin. Combined with a mild cream or gel, peppermint oil heals chapped skin. Its cooling effect, together with the base oil, is also useful for cooling sunburnt skin. To reduce puffiness, redness and pores, mint leaves can be frozen in ice cubes and used as a toner in the mornings and evenings. Peppermint is also a favourite ingredient in scrubs as it is said to reduce stretch marks.

Also in the VEGAN FOX product range Peppermint body scrub with 99.3% natural ingredients. It is based on natural oils and salts - grapeseed oil, jojoba oil and shea butter.
The natural mint leaves give the scrub a special texture and refresh, relax and soothe the body, the abrasive particles from the apricot kernels gently cleanse the skin and vitamins C and E promote the formation of collagen and skin renewal. The unique composition of the scrub not only has a cooling effect, but also relaxes joints and muscles, leaves skin smooth and firm, tones, intensively nourishes and moisturises.
