Hair care in winter

The winter season can be quite a test for hair health. This time has always been a great challenge in hair care, as the hair is affected by the cold outdoors, dry air indoors, various hair styling products, the fight against viruses with drugs and stress, which can make the hair lifeless and cause hair to split and fall out.

What affects the hair in winter?
In the cold months of the year, you should not forget about proper hair care, because this season is a difficult period for hair, which affects the health and beauty of hair:

1. Cold. The blood vessels under the scalp supply the roots of the hair with oxygen, and in the cold they narrow, so the hair does not receive enough oxygen and does not get access to the necessary nutrients. This is the reason why the hair becomes dull and begins to fall out. To avoid this, a safe way to protect your hair is to wear a hat. Wearing a hat will protect your hair from environmental weather and protect you from direct contact with the cold. But if you don't want to wear a hat, it's important at least not to wash or dry your hair shortly before you go out.

2. Heating. In winter, we spend more time indoors, and during the heating season a topical problem is the dry air it creates. Being in such an environment for a long time, both the skin and the hair become drier. If the moisture reserves in the hair are depleted, the hair structure becomes spiky and they break and tangle more strongly. To help your body, it is recommended to take in enough fluids during the cold period of the year, as well as it is desirable to spend a lot of time in the fresh air, improving blood circulation.

3. Hair washing and styling products.
