The skin is like a mirror of the organism, which very well shows the state of the internal environment of our organism. If you are constantly tired, eat uniform and unhealthy food or live under stress – everything on your skin will be visible. I claim that everyone has the opportunity to improve the appearance of the skin with their own strength! Is it simple, complicated or impossible? For someone, respect for regularity, consistency and a change in attitude may not be such an easy step. But I say it's easy if you do in your daily life:

  •  Use more plant products
  •  Move in the fresh air or move at all
  •  Get a good night's sleep

Nutrition has a strong connection with how you look and how you feel. To improve the condition of the facial skin, a healthy and balanced diet is required on a daily basis, as well as it is recommended to reduce the consumption of meat and dairy products and mostly use herbal products. To significantly improve the appearance and health of the skin, 10 products recommended by dermatologists are used on a daily basis. All these products do not need to be eaten every day, but at least some of them are included regularly in their menu.

Water is the first most important element of nutrition for the health and beauty of the skin. At night, various cleansing processes occur in the body and in the morning it is necessary to rinse these exchange products in the field, so it is highly recommended to drink 1 glass of water in the morning on an empty stomach.
During the day, drinking water in the appropriate amount – 30 ml for every kg of body – will make the body and skin sufficiently hydrated.
Seeds – pumpkin and sunflower seeds are rich in selenium, vitamin E, magnesium and protein. Selenium and protein help to get rid of wrinkles, vitamin E moisturizes the skin and protects the skin from sun damage, and magnesium lowers stress levels. Healthy Omega 3 fatty acids in flaxseed, chia and hemp seeds are an ideal tool in the fight against wrinkles and acne.

Dark Chocolate (at least 80% cocoa content) is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids and flavanols, which will make the skin radiant and help improve skin tone, structure and health, eliminating rashes.
Sweet potatoes contain vitamins A and C, which are vital in maintaining radiant and healthy skin. Vitamin C promotes collagen production, while vitamin A acts as an antioxidant that destroys free radicals and reduces the development of malignant skin tumors.
Tomatoes contain a special type of antioxidant – lycopene, which improves the health of the skin and prevents its pigmentation.
Red bell pepper contains a significant amount of fiber and vitamin B6. One paprika contains more than 100% of the daily intake of vitamin C. It is rich in carotene, which helps prevent wrinkles and increases blood circulation, and with a carotenoid that helps fight acne.
Spinach is a real storehouse of vitamins and valuable substances, containing both vitamins E, A, and C, and iron, magnesium, fiber, antioxidants and a number of other valuable trace elements. When eating spinach, internal cleansing of the skin occurs.
Green tea is an excellent source of antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties, and also contains unique amino acids that help relax the body and relieve stress.
Celery contains vitamin K, which maintains healthy circulatory circulation, natural sodium, potassium and water, which can protect the skin from dryness, flaking and wrinkles.
Carrots are good not only for eye health, but also for the skin, as they are rich in vitamin A, which improves skin condition, eliminates signs of fatigue and aging, and protects the skin from the negative effects of UV rays.

Any of your favorite activities – a walk in the forest, by the sea, to a nearby children's playground, a light run, Nordic walking, gymnastics, yoga, cycling or dancing will reward you with healthy pink cheeks.
It turns out physical activity is also able to improve the condition of the skin of the face, because as the heart rate and blood circulation accelerates, an increased amount of oxygen and nutrients flows to the skin, which contributes to the regeneration of the skin and improves complexion. In addition, playing sports helps reduce the level of the stress hormone cortisol in the body.
Regular movement promotes the production of collagen in the skin, so it remains firm and elastic for as long as possible.
Sweating is one of the best drugs against acne, as pores are cleansed from dead skin cells and dirt. It is important not to run or exercise if there is a layer of cosmetics left on the face, as this will make it difficult to clean the pores.

During sleep, your skin is given the opportunity to constantly regenerate and cleanse. However, if you devote too few hours to sleep, then the skin will gradually become brittle and pale, "drooping" eyelids, red and swollen eyes and dark circles under the eyes will form. Going to bed too late or getting up too early not only causes the skin to lose its elasticity, but also significantly accelerates aging.
Specialists recommend lying on your back or on your side with your head slightly raised. This is a good sleeping position to avoid health problems. Lying on your stomach, the face is pushed against the pillow and after spending several hours in such a posture, wrinkles and swelling around the eyes may begin to form due to difficulties in the flow of fluid, blood supply to the skin and breathing. It is also important to remember that the face is in close contact with the pillowcase, so it is better to change it more often so as not to contribute to biting the skin and getting dirt into the pores.

The basis of the whole foundation is moisturizing the skin. All you need, regardless of age and season, is a face cream. The face cream should be moisturizing with additional active substances according to your facial skin type and should be used daily in the morning and evening. Frost, heat, sun, heating, air conditioning or wind – all these conditions contribute to the loss of skin moisture.
A moisturizing face cream is basically a water-rich emulsion that supplies the skin of the face with moisturizing and rejuvenating active substances. If you have oily or combination facial skin, choose mild jelly-like textured moisturizers that do not clog pores and help regulate sebum release. Ideal if the composition contains an ingredient with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties – for example, calendula extract, chamomile extract, juniper extract or tea tree essential oil.

If your skin is dry, you will need a little more than just moisturizing. I recommend using a face cream with a rich texture and nourishing ingredients – for example, shea butter, almond oil, jojoba oil, evening primrose oil, cocoa butter.
Even before applying the cream, it is important to cleanse the skin with cleansing milk, foam or gel, balance the pH of the skin with a tonic or flower water, and only then massage the cream with light stroking or flaking movements. It is recommended to apply the face cream both on the face and neck, as well as in the upward direction of the décolleté area to promote lifting. With the first rays of the sun, prepare in advance to protect the skin from UV rays with one of the sunscreens.

Choose to use more than just cosmetics – we live in a very dynamic time, when overproduction of various cosmetic products forces us to make difficult choices and fortunately we have choices. Everyone has the opportunity to purchase cosmetic products with ethical and further transferred added value.
